Hello, Currently using Creo View 10.1 Is there a functionality to create section views based off of user defined reference planes that are created from references to points, edges, and planes on the objects being observed?

We’re encountering an authentication issue with Creo View in our shop floor kiosk setup and would appreciate any insights or suggestions. The below issue is observed after configuring Windchill with SSO Environment:Windchill 12.1 with SSO EnabledCreo View 11.1 Setup Overview:The kiosk runs on a shared local Windows account (saaccount)  used by multiple users to log in.Once logged in, users access the Windchill 12.1 application via Chrome and authenticate using their individual Windchill credentials.When they attempt to open a CAD object using the “Open in Creo View” option, Creo View fails to launch and returns the following error:saccount, 500 – You are not a registered Windchill userObserved Behavior: It appears that Creo View is attempting to authenticate using the Windows login (saaccount) rather than the Windchill credentials used in the browser session. Version: Windchill 12.1 Use Case: Mapping of attributes from CAD drawing (Assosiation: Calculated)Description: We have different parameters/attributes defined in the CAD and in the Drawing - The attributes are mapped to the WTpart, but are only synced from the CAD part (as it is associated as Owner). Association: Calculated does not show up on any of the lists of mapping options.  Is it possible to set that the attributes should be mapped from a "Calculated"?Is there another workaround (besides putting all the attributes/parameters in the CAD)? 

Hello Team,-Creo 9 with Windchill.I'm looking to create a mapkey to quickly open a drawing of a room that's already open.I've done a lot of research and i can never find a working solution. please don't redirect me to an alternative solution.I know that a part can have several drawings or be included in other drawings. However, in my case, 90% of the parts created have only one drawing, which has exactly the same name as the part, with .drw instead of .prt.I've created a relationship: DRAWING = PART_ID+ ".DRW".I now have a parameter with the right value.Since copy and paste doesn't work in mapkey commands, is there a line of OS script code that you could put in a mapkey to say, open "parametre drawing"?I work in a company that doesn't allow third-party applications to be installed.Thank in advance.

Version: Windchill 13.0 Use Case: I would like to hear from anyone able to meet data sovereignty requirements for multiple countries working in the same global implementation.Description: For some industries, there can be requirements for certain data to not leave the country. In a global implementation a data sovereignty requirement can apply to more than one country while the Windchill server can only physically exist in one. Meaning certain data from some countries can never be managed using Windchill. Theoretically if an organisation defines "data" as only files (so not including meta-data), by using correctly configured security labels in combination with vaulting rules, data/files always stay in country. I don't want to get into a debate about what "data" really is, that is a discussion for a legal compliance team. I want to hear if anyone is successfully doing this at their organisation, if so are they able to share any challenges they had to overcome to get things imp

At the moment Kepserver is only able to publish it's data to a MQTT broker as a json string. Because og this I need an extra software tool to split tags into topics and republish them into a UNS.I need Kepserver to be able to publish each tag on a separate topic for example corresponding to the structure of the tag groups in Kep. Is thes a part of Kepware's reoadmap?

I work my business alone at home. I have a LAN with three computers which I use for backup purposes and Mathcad 14 installed. I'm the only individual operating Mathcad on this LAN. My laptop (one of the 3 computers) recently failed and required a new SSD hard drive. I've installed Mathcad 14 on this laptop but can't use it because of the license issue. I need to update this Laptop with a new license. The other 2 computers are older than 15 years, so they both will see a replacement in the near future. I assume their replacements will also need to be re-licensed. Please help me acquire one license that I can use now for the laptop and also for future replacement of the other 2 computers.

Hello everyone, I wanted to know if Mathcad 15 works and can run in a snapdragon laptop with ARM windows. 

I am using Windchill PDMLink Release 12.0 and Datecode with CPS 12.0.1.2what is the format for the CSV file to use with LoadFromFile when I have 10 or more documents to load. I can load a single document ok but not when adding another document to the same csv file. file will convert to XML ok but not load?? CSV & XML files attached. MS log as well

How can I add conditional formatting to Mathcad sheet similar to what is available in excel?  I was envisioning formatting the output of a Boolean equation using Mathcad.   As near as I can tell, there is nothing in the Mathcad Prime 11 help that leads to some form of conditional formatting.

Would it be possible to add the little eye ball (i.e. show what you have typed) behind the password portion of the login to the community. So many times I fat finger the keyboard (or have my cap locks on - Creo Habit), but you cannot click on the "show me what I have typed" icon before hitting the enter key.

Hello, I used a subscription to simulate.Budget restrictions...I only have Creo 3 with Simulate "Light".I'm being asked to simulate a chassis in Step.I'm afraid Simulate won't allow me to convert surfaces to shell pairing and perform fatigue calculations.What do you think? Is it better to refuse?

Hi, my company uses the block structure in certain Arbortext content. Recently, we migrated from Windchill 12 to 13 and lost this formatting/text when publishing.We are using Arbortext w/ Styler 8.2.3.0. Please let me know if you need additional information. Thanks for any help,Jeff  

Sorry in advance if this looks confusing but I'm wondering if someone can shed some light on this. Looking to route a wire from off the screen at the top left to the center of the picture (where the wire is currently going) is there a reason it's not following the remaining section of the network (in black) to get to the connector?  My only guess as to why it's doing what it's currently doing is because  the intersection where it should go is to tight of an angle based on the bend radius of the wire.  If that is the problem is there a better way of fixing it besides adding more points in my network? Really wish the network would be more straight lines and then let the wire dictate the curve. Thanks 

I am new to the PTC Creo Direct Modeling Express 6.0 setup, and downloaded this free single user CAD tool to get started with making 3D objects. I choose the 64-bit version, and installed on my Windows 8.1 machine. After installing, I want to start the program, and it asked me to activate for new users. After registering for an account with PTC, I then attempted to activate, and get the following:Connection failed.For Modeling Express to automatically activate, it requires access to the internet. Please check if a proxy has to be specified, and enter your company's proxy server details so that the activation can proceed.I don't have any proxy settings in my browser, and am on a home network behind a NetGear wireless router. I do have access to the internet, and can't seem to determine why I am getting this message. Has anyone else seen this before? Any idea what I need to do to get PTC to see the internet?

Can't find export base template for Excel in the installation folder in Codebeamer. I was able to find it fine for word, But can't find excel templates. Can you please provide a default template?.

In Windchill 11.0 M030 version, since it is necessary to receive from other systems through interfaces, sample code related to the addition, deletion and modification of classification nodes and classification node attributes is required. After checking, I learned that in Windchill11.0 version, there is no supported API for direct operation.
