Email Subject Line Customization

How to simulate DC motor rotation speed by MDO

HelloI am trying to simulate the motion speed of a mechanism operated by DC motor.DC Motor Rotation Speed varies with the input torque as attached graph. But it seems impossible to define Motor Rotation Speed by using measured inputtorque in MDO.(There is only servo motor, whose speed does not depends on input torque) In this case, are there any method to simulate with the DC motor? I can calculate this motion in excel or mathcad, based on Torque value at each position angle from creo simulation with servo motor.But It would be great if this could be done just in Creo, or with a simpler workflow

What are the possible reasons for "Fatal Error" working with Creo?

Listbox and textbox resizing issue in Prime 10

Hi, Having some challenges with advanced controls in Prime 10. I have attached the worksheet for reference. Would appreciate any suggestions or work around. Listbox height is not fully resizing with font size. Some white space is left when resized to minimum height. If text boxes are arranged vertically, the dashed line around selected textbox overlaps significantly on adjacent text box. Bit of context.. Recent reluctant mover from Mathcad 15 to Prime 10. We do a lot of team collaboration, so we used to use Mathcad 15 worksheets as templates letting the testers to access only input and output sections of the Mathcad worksheet to test the multiple product models before fine tuning them. so, it's critical to fit as many list boxes and text boxes in input section. We are trying this out in Prime 10 and seeing basic challenges compared to Legacy version.

Error while running repository synchronization job

Hello PTC community,We were performing the Codebeamer and Azure DevOps integration using the "New External Repository".After doing the configuration when we clicked on the Validation it got validated and we were able to create the new external repository.  Everything went well. But after trying to "Scm repository update synchronization" we are facing the "Error while running repository synchronization job, For: Azure-repository". We are using the Codebeamer version 2.2.0.2 but i have not found any article in the knowledge base addressing this issue.

Modeling Express: Save as STL - Subset of parts?

In Modeling Express, I have figured out how to save a single part as a STL using the "Select" button in the Save dialog, or I can save as STL all of the parts using the "All Objects" button in the Save dialog.  Is it possible to in the save dialog to save just a subset of the parts (meaning, more than one part but less than all parts)?

Cannot install Creo after moving license host

I am using Pro/ENGINEER and Creo Elements/Pro Release 17.0 and Datecode96130I changed the license host from a computer that died to the new device in the PTC licensing management website, but am having issues installing Creo with the new licensing information. I saved the license.txt file to the new device and it keeps telling me that the license server is not reachable, despite the fact that the license server is the local computer.

Dynamic Overrides for Line Coordinates (x1, y1, x2, y2) Not Applying in SVG

In the current ThingWorx (v10.0.0) SVG implementation, when attempting to dynamically override the coordinates of a element (x1, y1, x2, y2) via data-binding or the override mechanism, the changes are not visually applied to the SVG.Although the updated values reach the browser (confirmed via the network tab), the rendered SVG does not reflect these changes. Inspecting the DOM shows that the line element’s coordinate attributes remain unchanged. This indicates that the current runtime code does not correctly apply dynamic updates to coordinate attributes for elements, even though style and other override attributes are applied correctly. This needs to be fixed urgently . Please help

Restrict Download Option in Windchill Navigate While Allowing View Access to Attachments

We have a customer requirement to restrict the download functionality for Windchill Navigate users, while still allowing them to view (visualize) primary and secondary content attachments. The intent is to prevent users from downloading files, yet enable them to access and read the data through Navigate.Currently, access control in Windchill is managed via ACL permissions. However, if download access is restricted at the ACL level, users are unable to even view or search for attachments in Windchill Navigate. This creates a functional limitation, as the customer wants their users to be able to see the content in Navigate (for example, PDFs or viewable files), but not download it.

Changes - Order of Completion

Version: Windchill 13.0 Use Case: I have a requirement from a customer to enforce an order in which changes to parts included in Windchill are completed in. For example, if I had a project which was to replace an inner tube on a bike, I may introduce several change objects into the Windchill instance to achieve this. Task 1 may be to remove the tyre. Task 2 may be to remove the punctured inner tube. Task 3 may be to apply the new inner tube. Assuming we had different people performing each of these tasks, it may be desirable to specify that Task 3 can only be completed one Task 2 had been completed and that Task 3 should not be attempted before this.Description: Using my example above, can anybody recommend the best way to ensure change tasks are completed in a certain order and if it is possible to prevent changes being completed before a pre-requisite change has been completed?

Obtain expression robot name from called java class

All, I have a scenario where I am calling a custom java method from an expression robot in a workflow. I pass the self and primaryBusinessObject references as parameters to the call and what I need is to get the name of the expression robot. This is not a problem when the call is made from an assigned activity because then the self variable refers to the activity from which I can get the name. However, when self is send from an expression robot it refers to the process itself.  Does anybody know how to get the name of the expression robot? I should mentions that in this particular scenario I do not want to pass it as a parameter to the method.

How to change inner value color of ThresholdIndicatorWidget based on condition?

Hi developers, Firstly, I am using ThingWorx 9.4.6 version. How to implement below problem:Problem: I want to implement to change the inner value colour of the ThresholdIndicatorWidget according to OEE property value. meaning if OEE value is below 60 then inner value colour should be RED likewise OEE value below 80 -> Yellow and below and equal to 100 -> Green. I am attaching a screenshot of that widget in the name of ThresholdIndicatorWidget.png, PFA. In this image, 22 number value should be in RED colour. For inner indicator bar I have attached a new State Definition for this widget instead of its default state definition. I am attaching the image in the name of StateDefinition.png for your reference. Due to this state definition inner value colour is not changing accordingly. Please help me in this. Thanks in advance.

Creo Host ID Keeps changing (error (-9) invalid host ID)

Hi All,In one of our machines, we installed Creo 12 with a Node locked license. Generated the license based on the host ID shown in the Creo installer. Creo runs perfectly. After a few days, it stops with the error (-9) invalid host ID. When we check, the previous host ID is no longer shown. It shows a whole different Host ID. Any assistance would help. If not, we may have to escalate to PTC.Regards.
