If your Windchill system is using basic HTTP authentication there is no OOTB way you can have a logoff button. There is a workaround, pushing an alternate authentication session clearing the current authentication (false authentication)

Windchill 10.1 + has form based authentication which will provide a log out button. You can enable it by following the methods detailed in http://www.ptc.com/cs/help/windchill_hc/wc102_hc/index.jspx?id=WCAdvDepAuth_ConfigAltAuth&action=show under Form-Based authentication. If you are using WGM or DTI, there are couple of other things which you should change as well.

Thank you

Binesh Kumar

Barry Wehmiller

If you are using Internet Explorer you can select File>New Session. This will create a new Internet Explorer window that will "forget" the login of the already-open window, thus allowing more than one person to log into WC at the same time from the same computer. I usually use this for running tests and haven't seen this practice used in production so I cannot comment on if it has any issues or not.
