I am using Windchill ProjectLink Release 11.1 and Datecode with CPS M020-CPS27

We are unable to get any Windchill users (other than those with administrator privileges) setup with the ability to share any objects from PDM to ProjectLink ("Share to Project"). We are seeking to learn the access controls required, and the level in which the access controls need to be set at.

The objects we are trying to share are CAD objects (Creo files), and the users are Team Members to the Projects and have already Joined the projects.

The error message we receive states:
FAILURE: Ineligible objects selected. The object(s) you selected is ineligible for Add to Project, or you do not have access to the object(s).

Here are the errors that I faced
FAILURE: Ineligible objects selected. The object(s) you selected is ineligible for Add to Project, or you do not have access to the object(s).

Ok, its giving you two possible reasons. If you say that admins can do it, then the cause is likely the second, access rights. The methodserver log should display the error message of any access denials by that username who tried it. Can you posted that here, minus any PII?

Are the users in the Collaboration Manager role?

Is sharing enabled in the target project?

Can an admin share the objects?

Yes, Collaboration Manager Role is needed to perform "Share to Project".
