I am using Creo Parametric - Release 5.0 (connected) Release 5.0 and Datecode5.0.6.0

Opening creo parametric 5.0.6.0, two exe are opening in task manager xtop.exe and parametric.exe, what is the relation between these two exe's??
when we open two creo parametric, How to relate which xtop.exe is for parametric exe. As there are 2 xtop and 2 parametric exe. present.

Each xtop process is associated with Creo being launched and is specific to date code. You can find a unique xtop process in the install path for Creo.

i.e. C:\Program Files\PTC\Creo 7.0.7.0\Common Files\x86e_win64\obj

Here is task manager showing two xtop processes running when both Creo 4 and Creo 7 have been launched.

parametric exe

⬇️ is parent of

command exe

⬇️ is parent of

xtop exe
