Hi I need an example code for attaching custom symbol/Annotation Balloon to dimension(Prefix/Suffix) based on the dimension displayed in the drawing .

does this mean that you are developing an application using Pro/TOOLKIT?

Hi,

Yes I am developing an application where in I click a button in creo it should create Symbol (Balloon) and attach that to all the dimensions with Note text in it. Like : A Circle symbol with 1,2,3 added.

I dont want to use PRO/Tool Kit . I want to use Creo Object Tool Kit for building this application.

Hi,

I have already done the Initial programming part of creating a button in creo and accessing of all the dimensions . I only want to add the symbol creation and attaching it to a dimension with pointer2d say as it is a drawing file .

Can we add custom symbols in drawing annotation (Specifically Prefix and Suffix) without Pro/TOOLKIT?
