And how much RAM do you have? 64-bit OS would better allocate it's resources with less swapping.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;If you're on 32-bit, look on PTC for the TPI regarding the "/3GB Switch". It may help.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;MFG&lt;/P&gt;&lt;/BODY&gt;&lt;/HTML&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;HTML&gt;&lt;HEAD&gt;&lt;/HEAD&gt;&lt;BODY&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Hey &lt;BR /&gt;Sorry... now in english &lt;span class="lia-unicode-emoji" title=":winking_face:"&gt;😉&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I made a "RushThrough" calculation with Mechnica which failed after 10 hours with the following end of the Report:&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;SPAN style="color: #0000ff;"&gt;"......"&lt;BR /&gt;Fatal Error; Computing run terminates &lt;BR /&gt;Do Oct 26, 2010 04:08: 43 &lt;BR /&gt;A disk read error occured with the equation solver,which could be attributed to insufficient disk memory and/or directory/file access rights. &lt;BR /&gt;Further informations can be found in the following documentation:&lt;BR /&gt; Clause: "Running Standard Design Studies"&lt;BR /&gt; Topic: "Using Multiple Working Directories"&lt;BR /&gt; "Managing Disk Space Resources"&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;The Working directory has got 180GB free Space and the MainDrive has got &amp;gt; 230 GB free Space. I'm not really having a clou about the problem. One possibility could be that the virtual memory is to small.!??!&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt; The PC is a AMD Athlon 64 X2 Dual, Core Processor 6000+ , 3.00GHz , 2,00 GB RAM , virtual memory 2046-4092 MB , WIN XP SP 3 , Pro/E WF 3.0&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;A Screenshot and the complete Error Report is in the att. of my first post.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Thanks so far&lt;BR /&gt; Björn&lt;/P&gt;&lt;/BODY&gt;&lt;/HTML&gt;</description>
