La toute dernière version de CoCreate Modeling PE, le premier logiciel gratuit de CAO 3D explicite, est désormais disponible.

Bonjour,

Quelques questions relatives à la version PE3 :

- peut-elle cohabiter avec la version PE2 (désinstallation de PE2 non requise) ?

- les fichiers créés sous PE2 peuvent-ils être exploités sous PE3 ?

si oui, une fois ouvert sous PE3, peuvent-ils être exploités à nouveau sous PE2 ?

Quelques éléments de réponses:

#1: cohabitation PE2, PE3: je n'ai pas essayé. Je ne serais pas surpris qu'elles puissent cohabiter.

#2: de PE2 vers PE3: oui, après avoir fait quelques tests simples

#3: de PE3 à PE2: non, après avoir fait quelques tests simples également. Notamment avec l'introduction de certaines nouveautés.

I like ot answer those questions

1.Could we install Modeling PE3 in parallel with Modeling PE2 on one machine?

Answer: Yes - this is possible, since they are based on different major versions.

2. Is Modeling PE3 reading Modeling PE2 files?

Answer: Yes - Of course. Modeling PE provides UPward compability.

3. Can Modeling PE2 read Modeling PE3 files?

Answer: No - Modeling PE 2 can not read files saved by Modeling PE 3. An error will be displayed.

There is also no option available to save the data in a format to be loaded in one version before.
