ADDING VARIED ITEMS FROM FLEXIBLE MODEL INTO FAMILY TABLE

is there any way to add flexible model > varied items into the family table as we do for Dimensions & Parameters  ? Refer uploaded pics.

Associate a component-level parameter with the varied item.

note you first have to "add" the "Assoc. Param" column by clicking on the icon:

After that is set up, you can add these (flexible) component-level parameters to your assembly family table:

The varied items designated at the part level should carry through instances.

I'm guessing you want an assembly-level family table that drives "make flexible" dimensions on the parts, without changing the parts. Here's one way:

  1. Use Make Flexible to add the dimension in question as a varied item.
  2. Add a relation on the assembly level that relates that part-level dimension to a parameter. For example "d235:30 = flex".
  3. Set the parameter in your family table.

I just tried this out real quick and it worked for me.

Associate a component-level parameter with the varied item.
