Hey Everyone,
I have been asked to look into embedding a IP protection note into our Creo files, and was wondering if anyone had done anything like this before and could provide some information on what you did?
We want to add an ownership note to the Creo files that state we own this, yadda, yadda, yadda. That cant be removed easily. It would be nice if it could be hidden from view, but would want it to reappear each time the file was opened. Or something like that.
Any third party software out there?

We use an flat to screen 3D annotation that contains our copyright. We have also used a 3D note.
Michael, is that a feature in the model tree? If so, can it be removed?
We are trying to get a note that is somewhat permanent / not easily removed by someone.
No. Actually, I have asked PTC for this functionality related the MBE efforts. Not sure where that request stands.
You might be able to put something in the Creo template header. It's not locked down, but it is hidden...
Hi,
Were you able to achieve this ?
If yes, can you share how ?
