Are you allowed to include videos or screenshots of Creo parametric when posting on the ptc community? I have seen a lot of videos and pictures of creo online, for example on https://www.youtube.com/c/CreoParametric/videos, but I do not know whether the people who published the content had to communicate to a ptc representative first, because I also heard that it is not legal to post content of video games etc. online because it could be a copyright violation. In the terms of service (https://community.ptc.com/t5/Welcome-How-To-s/Terms-of-Service-Updated-on-Dec-8-2021/m-p/738665#M641) it says that PTC will respond to copyright violations. So does any one maybe know whether you are allowed to post content like this, or where you can read about this topic? Thanks a lot for a reply!

Yes. Videos and screen shots of Creo applications are permitted. You do not need to get permission in advance to post them.

I see a lot of videos and images posted, Perfectly reasonable, given that's often the quickest way to illustrate the problem, or a method to solve the problem. What I think they're trying to avoid is the usual - people posting copyrighted stuff like music, etc. But also posting of links to websites. Links can be a source of malicious stuff, and 9 times out of 10 our company's "nanny-ware" will not let us click on such things, even if I was so incautious as to do so. I don't even click on MS Word files, because they can do bad things.
It hasn't happened in a while, maybe the protections in place are better, or we're not such a juicy target, but there have been times in the past when these forums have been spam-bombed by unscrupulous folk...some of the rules are strict because of those instances.
