Arrgh, Edge Display, Erase Line

Come on PTC.  How many years do we need to endure the Edge Display>Erase Line and the lines do not disappear?  To make matters worse the lines are erased.  When I went to create a dim and attempted to use the edges, there were no edges to select, yet they are displayed.  I voted up the idea for enhancing this part of the software.

I just discovered that if I turn off "Fast HLR for Drawing"  The edges of the rounds that I just tried to erase (in fact, did erase) disappear.  When I turn "Fast HLR for Drawing" back on (manually, found on the View tab in drawing mode), the edges re-appear!

Is this a bug perhaps?  Running Creo 3.0 M120
