I am using Creo Parametric Release 4.0 and DatecodeM150
I would like to use envelope models to help with managing large assemblies but I need to retain a parametric link to the mass properties of the original assembly. I have found a way to do this using a mass properties measurement feature in the original assembly in combination with relations and assigned mass properties in the envelope model, but this requires users to manually update the session ID in the relations of the envelope model. I would like to know if it is possible to automatically associate the envelope model relations with the parent assembly session ID on envelope model creation.
