Bimetal Strip for meachanical solar tracker

I want to make a Bimetal Strip Temperature Displacement for my full mechanical project :
mechanical solar tracker (dual-axis sun follower) brief description a purely mechanical solar tracker that uses clockwork and thermal expansion to keep a small solar panel or mirror sun-facing, without any electronics or sensors. working principle heating the bimetallic strip triggers a ratchet mechanism for hourly, incremental platform rotation. gravity then leverages a weighted escapement to fully reset the platform upon sunset.
also any advice for my projects
Thanks

Sounds like a fun project, thanks for sharing it. I'd love to see more detail. Sharing is great, please do, but you said you were seeking advice, so you'll need to be more specific if you have questions.
