Is it worth to switch to Onshape from Creo.
Part, Assembly, Drawing and in terms of all solutions.
Please share the beneficial, if possible
Thanks!
You can test onshape using the free plan. I would suggest you try to test something "difficult". Make sure you test models, drawings, exports, imports. Anything you do in your normal working day.

Onshape may do what you need, but only you and your company will know your needs.
Files are not interchangeable between OnShape and Creo. They can be opened as dumb solids, just like they would coming from any other CAD system.
What is your driving force to do a switch? If you are only looking for a SaaS CAD solution, Creo+ is an alternative to OnShape.
Is Creo+ offering same cloud computing power as Onshape? When looking at Creo+ overview there is no mention to cloud computing performance but only direct sync.
Thanks
Hi @NSS,

Although Onshape is an impressive tools it does not compare to Creo. I will state that a close friend who recently was laid off from Fusion 360 team told me that fusion development & marketing have legitimate anxiety about Onshape. Our inhouse prototype shop uses Onshape exclusively and I plan on using it more just to stay ontop of the game. I plan to try to mill something with Onshape this month.

What do you mean by "cloud computing power'? It is my understanding that both OnShape and Creo+ are running on your local computer. The cloud is doing the file sync between users and storing the information.
