CREO quilts to Blender?

Hi, I've been struggling to find a straightforward way to export quilts directly to Blender, without having to go through additional software. Isn't there a way to export quilts in common polygon formats like glTF, FBX, OBJ, or STL?

All other software I’ve used offers smooth export options without these extra steps. Why does PTC make this process so complicated for users?

I'm using CREO 11 & 12

Hi,

you can export STL file if your model contains solid geometry. So you need to add more geometry to the quilt surface and create a solid model.

Thanks for your reply.

I’m looking for a solution to export quilts without make it solid or 3rd party conversion.

Best so far is DXF with Blender DXF-import-addon. But that solution is a bit unstable on the Blender side.

Hi,

I think you can also test STEPper add-on.
