Can Creo 2 model parameters be searched without Windchill?

At this time, my company is not looking into PDM, so I was wondering if there were any cost effective methods of searching model parameters.  The biggest issue I've been having is finding models for fasteners.  We don't currently have a library of standard fasteners at this time; we just download individual fasteners on a need basis.  This has worked for the company for some time, however, now we have multiple users and we need a better way of finding a fastener other than attempting to download one and finding out there is already a version on our servers.

Might be able to do what you need using ModelCheck.  Long shot but worth a look.
