Can I export Diagra to RSD? WF4 export error

The local cablers here have some weird way of setting up their pro diagram
diagrams and I think that prevents us from exporting the diagrams over to
RSD. I got a couple of requests, maybe someone can help me out.

1)Can I get a simple diagram from anyone that I can use to show that
exporting from ProDiagram to RSD is possible? Pretty Please?

2)Do you buy your connector/spool databases from some where? does it come
with RSD (I'm thinking no)? Is it easy to make these as you go/need them?
What strategy should I take as we move from Diagram to RSD without a set of
connectors/spools/pins etc.

Not sure why you would want to export from Diagram to RSD, unless you are trying to gety away from Pro/Diagram and need to transfer existing files to the RSD format.

What version of RSD are you using? But I believe you have to be on RSD 8 or 9 to be able to do the export you are asking about.

If you would like to send me one your diagrams I will convert it for you
to Creo Schematics 1.0



When the diagram is converted all the library objects and spool files
that were used in the converted schematic will be converted and be
available in the Creo Schematics library. You can of course edit the
catalog objects and add additional spools if you so wish.



If you download Creo Schematics Pre Production you will notice there is
a new "Get Started" tab. On this tab you will see a tutorial that will
help you get started with Creo Schematics and provide ideas on how to
setup your catalog etc.



Again send me the files and I will convert and send back
