Hello,
I'm trying to export the y,z positions of the wheel profile of a Rail Wheel from a .prt, in order to use the y,z points in another software.
I tryed to save the .prt as IGES, rename the file to .pts and then import through Offset Coord. Syst, but no points were shown.
I would need at least 150 points to have a decent wheel profile.
Thanks for any help,
Manetti
Hi,
I guess you have to create datum points on wheel.
I have tried this before and it had not worked,
now it worked... haha
thanks alot,
Manetti
