Can drawing decimal defaults be independent from sketch decimal place default

In sketch I have 5 decimal places.

In my drawing I need 3 decimal places.

Without changing all dimensions after they are created I don't see any way of getting the drawing to default to 3 decimal places.

Am I wrong?

Online I see numerous people asking this same basic question with numerous suggestions but it appears that nothing appears to solve the problem.

This is proper behavior but I understand your reasoning in thinking "there should be a button"...

I set my default decimal places to 4.  On the drawing I decide which to adjust to 2 places.

In general I want my models to match the drawings 100%.  I turn off Auto-adjust for limit dimensions, however.

If you use driving dimensions on your drawing, your model will take on these new parameters.  However, if you use primarily driven dimensions, you've isolated yourself from the model.  I tend to use driving dimensions, so my model's annotated dimensions can get -interesting-.  But that is the way Pro|E made its claim to fame... at least one of them.
