Can someone give tutorial about Split AREA in Sheetmetal

please someone explain me the concept of SPLIT AREA in CREO Sheetmetal with Video???

I don't have video, but it will allow you to split one continuous area into smaller areas that you can then add splits and bends without affecting other geometry areas. Someone had a post on here a while ago that showed a good use for it. It was a piece that had a tongue that had a cut so that there were two regions, one region was to be bent and the other remained unbent. Two ways were presented to accomplish this. 1) Bend the area and use the bend back option to put the inner region into it's desired position. 2) Split the region which created a bend line that allowed the outer region to be bent without bending the inner piece. It looked basically like a sheetmetal bookend.
