Can't Name a Dimension "G"

Folks,

My colleague is renaming some of his dimensions so he can call them out in a table on the drawing. He has dimensions labeled "A", "B", "C", "D", "E", and "F", but when he tries to name a dimension "G" it tells him that "this name is reserved or exists already."

Is "G" just not an allowable name for a dimension? We're on WF5.

Thanks,
Tim

Well, that was quick. "G" is reserved for gravity in relations.

Thanks to all who answered so quickly.

It is likely that there is already a parameter named "G". Perhaps from a
previous attempt at naming the dimension "G" and then deleting the
dimension. The parameter will still exist. If that is the case, Delete
the parameter (careful that it is not being used somewhere) and rename
your dimension to "G".

Tim,

G is a reserved, internal symbol for the acceleration due to gravity. You could use something like G_DIM instead. Best of luck!

Thanks.
