Cannot edit KEs after switching to Simplified Rep

Hello everyone,

after I exclude the display of individual components using the Simplified Representation function, I can no longer edit KEs until I close and reopen the session. How can I, for example, edit sketches again?

ACCEPTED SOLUTION

Accepted Solutions

It happens when I exclude a Copy-Geom.

Q1: No.
Q2: No.
Q3: I can, but I found the problem.

I can edit sketches or extrusions after changing the Simplified REP to Master.

Sorry, but I don't know what a "KE" is. Is it an abbreviation in German for something?

Hi,

Konstruction Element = Feature

Hi,

Q1: Can you edit definition of Skizze 1 and Skizze 2?

Q2: Is Skizze 3 dependent on Externe Kopiegeom?

Q3: Can you upload your model?

Hey, thank you.
It seems that the solution wouldn't work, unfortunately it's still greyed out.

Hi,

Edit Definition and Insert Here are not available while a Simplified Representation. means that you cannot redefine feature, when simplified representation is opened.
