In Creo 3 the default feature preview shows exactly how the model will look if the feature is completed. If the feature is going to fail, no preview is shown. For very tiny changes, it isn't clear whether the preview is on screen or if it will fail. For very tiny drafts, it isn't as easy to see which way the draft is going. I have to flick the draft direction back and forth to check.
The older translucent yellow preview was more useful to me. I could see exactly what would happen straight away. It is still available, but it isn't the default. Does anyone know how to make it the default?
Cheers

David,
in CR2 I use the following option:
DYNAMIC_PREVIEW ATTACHED or UNATTACHED or NO
MH
I just found this:
ALLOW_ATTACHED_DYNAMIC_PREVIEW no
Sounds likely

Thanks Martin, that's much better.
