I'm quite new to Creo, but is there a way in the versions before 9.0 that it always starts with no columns visible when you open a file?
Hi @Aram_L. I moved your message from this product idea: Config option to Hide/Show Model Tree Columns - PTC Community

Config option in Creo 7. Yes, is the default value. Try this in your config.pro file.
Thanks for your reply. 🙂
If I set the value to "no" it indeed does not open all columns when I open a new file but for some reason it also doesn't show the actual model tree anymore, it switches to the layers view and I can't switch back to the model tree itself.
The option to toggle and switch to see all the columns is gone also, so this is not really the solution I'm afraid.
What I am looking for is the possibility to toggle but upon opening a file have the view set to closed so I don't lose 3/4 of my real estate. (See attached file)
Kind regards,
Aram.
