Creating a Balloon Template within drawing.

I am creating multiple drawing for a variety of  assemblies. They are pretty much identical other than one or two components.

Is there a possibility of creating a standard template or format for the BOM table Balloons? So all of my drawings will look identical?

You can include a BOM table with repeat regions in a drawing template this will dynamically update based on modifications to the assembly driving the table. I am not sure the balloons can be part of the template as they are dependent on the active model used on the drawing.

Repeat Regions:

Have you considered creating simplified reps for you assembly variants?  You may be able to then save the original drawing under a different name and then change the active rep in the model and thereby the BOM table and drawing views.
