I am new to Creo 2.0, but have been using ProE for several years in my classroom. When I started Creo for the frist time only the top plane is visible. I went to the Model Tree and right clicked on the Front plane to un-hide it. Some times the "un-hide" is grayed out and other times it is not.
How can I set all 3 planes to be visible at all times and not have to go in and change it every time? Why would the option to unhide be grayed out?

Are you trying to drag and drop? If so, that doesn't work in the layers dialog. You need to open the properties for the ALL_CURVES layer by right clicking and selecting properties. Then you can select F112, even from the layers dialog, to add it to that layer.
Also, an item can exist on multiple layers, although it can make managing display a bit tricky. If you only want it on one, you need to manually remove it from the other.
Lastly, the "Hidden Items" layer is a special thing. It doesn't behave like other layers, you cannot control its display for example. It's more a collection of the things that are hidden.

Thank you! That worked!
