I am new to Creo 2.0, but have been using ProE for several years in my classroom. When I started Creo for the frist time only the top plane is visible. I went to the Model Tree and right clicked on the Front plane to un-hide it. Some times the "un-hide" is grayed out and other times it is not.
How can I set all 3 planes to be visible at all times and not have to go in and change it every time? Why would the option to unhide be grayed out?
This is great idea. In Pro/E or Creo, it is very difficult task to build gear or spring model. Helical sweep is not effective. For other software, NX, CATIA ,solidworks and SolidEdge, have specific tool for this, only type related parameters are OK.
I absolutely agree with you. Gear and spring model is high-used in mechanical structure design. PTC should enhance this so that keep up with other CAD software. Make easy for structure design engineers.
I think all is about inteligentce in your models. look at video. In Pro/E (Creo Parametric is all possible)
Hi Radovan Micek, www.youtube.com is blocked in here. Do you mean to use relation or Pro/TOOLIT?
All with relations and UDF
Just like the following documents? Which are too complex. I want to only click one icon, then type the some gear/spring parameters. It sees have to using Pro/TOOLIT for this. I think PTC SHOULD ADD THIS INTO STANDARD CORE FUNCTIONALITY.

Users in Czech Republic can do this wit Pro/CZ pack. This pack is set of tools for example gears, whre you can open gear and modify parameters. This pack include drawing table for gears too.
If OOTO functionality includes such a tool, it will be a great highlight.
