Creo 4 on Lenovo
Has anyone been running Creo 4 on Lenovo computer? Laptops or desktops. I have not heard nice things about Lenovo computers overall lately.

There is a neat tool called Product Calendar that will show you when updates are scheduled for release and when they are actually released.
http://support.ptc.com/cs/product_calendar/PTC_Product_Calendar.htm#RANGE!A238
The user community would not have any information on why PTC missed a projected date for a release. Very few PTC product managers or support people visit the Community. Your best answer will come if you open a call with PTC tech support.

Calendar shows Creo 4.0 m040 is scheduled for release on January 5th.
When a date is in italics it is the anticipated release date.
The date has been changed since earlier!
It is now scheduled for January 19th.

It looks like the date has slipped to January 19th. (This is not uncommon with maintenance releases.)

M040 Was rescheduled for Jan 19th, and as of 2pm still not posted on Jan 19th.
I wonder if it is going to be delayed again.

ThingMarks are no longer necessary in M040 for generating Augmented Reality experiences. Unfortunately it requires at least iPhone 6S and I have a regular 6. D'oh! I don't want to upgrade my iPhone because I'm going to make the jump to Android, but unfortunately Android is not yet supported.

ThingWorx View is available for Android from the Google Play store:

Are you talking about something different?

I am reading the article to say the new "Spatial Target" publishing, in M040, is not yet supported in Android. The old pre M040 "ThingMarks" publishing method is supported however not the new "Spatial Target" method.

I just tried it with an Android device and sure enough I get the error message:
"Sorry! 3D elements can't be displayed because either spacial tracking isn't supported on this device, or ThingView renderer has not been enabled in Settings."
Just like the article says:

7zip was complaining about a header error but the Windows built-in zip tool unzipped it just fine. So far I haven't seen any issues with installation or usage.
