I have a newly built pc with a ryzen 5 5600x and rx6600xt graphics card. I was able to get an educational license in order to use creo on my personal desktop rather than the schools computers. But every few seconds creo will freeze and then unfreeze two seconds later. Its making using the application extremely frustrating. Does anyone know a solution to this?

Hi,
add following option into config.pro temporarily.
graphics win32_gdi
If it resolves the problem then it is related to graphic card drivers.
Remove the above option and experiment with graphic card drivers. Sometimes you have to install old drivers, not the current ones.
Ok i tried this and i never had it freeze up on me. So yesterday i completely uninstalled all my drivers for my graphics card and reinstalled a different AMD driver/tuning program made for using with CAD programs and other professional applications. So now i just need to do some work on it for a little bit to see if it comes back or not.
Ok so after some testing it appears to still be freezing every few seconds. I do recall a few weeks ago when this first started, i got a message one or two times when starting creo about it being unable to verify my license or something along those lines. Could a poor internet connection or other internet problems cause this?
