Recently been using Freestlye for a furniture company, who wanted to easily and quickly create furniture. But not been locked by creating loads and loads of surfaces, to then be told by the customer that they wanted the sides lowered or back slightly higher.
This is perfect for freestyle, as the engineer can then quick edit the freestyle feature to suit the customers needs.
Once the model has been create I took a JPEG Image from google and mapped this onto the surfaces of the freestyle feature. The trick here is the orientation of the texture.
Now the model is ready for some additional ARX materials, a HDRI scene. The below image took a couple of minuetes to render and demonstrates the power of Creo Parametric.
The complete design time is around 20 - 30 minutes!
