Datums in Model tree being hidden when i run model check

when i run model check all the datums (planes, points, axis, curves) all become greyed out in the model tree and layers. i do not want this i want to see them at all times. i have been told that this is a default setting in Creo from PTC. is there a setting i can change for this?

What version of Creo are you using?

That is not a Creo setting, but might be how your company has ModelCheck configured. It does not do that with our settings in MC.

we are on Creo8, going to 10 next year.

ok, i asked our Support person about it and he told me that it was a PTC setting that they could not change. i will get back with him about this again.
