Hi
Does anyone have any experience of Design for Manufacture (DfM) software which integrates or uses the creo model to provide Design for Manufacturability reports and costing reports etc. particularly for machined part (majority cylindrical)
I have a trial version of DfMPro for Creo...but that just seems to generate a report based on a set of rules...ie flat bottomed holes, depth of bore etc....cant seem to find anywhere in it that would suggest costing reports etc.....or is that part of the cad/cam program.
Is there a PTC extension for Creo that may provide a solution for us.
Thanks in advance
Stuart
Dear Stuart,
DFMPro is now bale to also estimate cost of manufacturing and also generate cost reports.
you can visit DFMPro website to know further about this capability.
