Difference between STRONG and LOCK in sketcher

All,

I am currently working on a very critical part in regards to safety. I want to absolutely insure that NO OTHER PARAMETERS CHANGE when I modify a single parameter within a sketch. What is the difference between LOCK and STRONG in the sketcher? WillLOCKing a parameterprovide added insurance that nothing else changes? I am creating the geometric definition of this part with design-intent, and I constrain my sketches very well. That being said, I want NO SURPRISES.

A STRONG dimension is a dimension confirmed by you as an intentional
dimension, incontrast with WEAK dimensions, proposed by ProE.
A LOCKED dimension is a dimension that can not be changed by dragging
geometry, but it can be changed by double clicking the dimension value
in the sketcher.

If you want to be 100% sure that certain dimensions are not changed from
within the graphics window in sketcher, I would suggest to apply an
extra parameter via a relation to that dimension. This has consequences
to the performance when working with this part, but at least, you are
100% sure.

Also, a locked dimension only stays locked in that sketcher session. Once
the sketch is closed, if you go back into it, the dimension will no longer
be locked.

locked remains locked.

It remains locked (when you go back into sketcher) in WF3 (M170) as
well. You can see here from the screen shot that the dim even shows up
as locked (Orange) when you try to edit the feature without going back
into the sketcher. It will remain "locked" even when you change it as
well.
