Dimension extension line length

Is there a method to set up drawing templates to set the dimension extension line length to a particular value. From the attached image I can manually change the length's by dragging the end, but I would like to set this in the config.pro file perhaps.

That is drawing setup option 

witness_line_offset

Set that value in your drawing template and all your new drawings created from that template will use the new value.

Any previously created drawings, the value will have to be adjust drawing by drawing.
