Disobedient component

WF2, M220

I have two components in a family table generic that won't obey the table rules (I seem to have some Pro|E rebellion of late).  It's not explicitly listed in the table, which means it should be included in all instances unless a parent is excluded.  It has only 1 parent and that component is in the family table, being excluded from all but one instance.  In that single instance, however, these rogue components refuse to show up.

Ironically, I assembled them originally in this one instance, which did add them to the table.  I removed them from the table and sometime after that they stopped showing up.  I tried forcing a regen via the model player in the generic and the instance as well as re-assembling in the generic.  The components still won't show in the instance.

How do I troubleshoot this?
