Does PTC has a plan to modernize Composite Design?

Currently composite design is disabled by default in Creo.

Refer to Article - CS77071 - How to create composite part using Pro/COMPOSITE module in Creo Parametric (ptc.com), we can enable this by hidden config.pro option enable_part_subtype_composite to yes, but it is still in very old menu manager style, also a lots of functionalities are limited.

Do somebody know whether PTC has a plan to modernize Composite Design?

Composite Design is a very important for many product design with composite material, why PTC still ignore this in design workflow?

Hi

You are expecting Creo to support composite material and what is offered currently is a hidden option.

In order to notify Product Manager, you can create a enhancement idea by following this page: https://community.ptc.com/t5/Creo-Parametric-Ideas/idb-p/creoparametric
