Drawing view boundary

When placing a view in a drawing, the boundary of the view is much larger than the actual solid part.  I think it is referencing some datums or ref geo in the view.  Is there a way to get the view to be proportional to the actual solid body in the view?

There are not options available to control the view size.. however you may like the post
