Be advised if you are using Expert Frame Extension; EFX 5.0. This morning we discovered that the steel inch channel dimensions provided for this program by PTC are incorrect. We have not yet checked all other steel profile tables yet, but after this discovery they are all suspect. I'm not sure where they got their dimensions, I thought steel sizes were pretty universal, but users of this program may want to check the PTC dimensions against the sizes from your steel supplier. They're off by just enough to cause our welder a few migraines, not to mention us designers. I plan to look into this a little further and if necessary open a call to PTC.
