We discovered this morning that the dimension in PTC steel profile tables for "inch channel" are incorrect per AISI and AISM standards. Off by enough to cause problems trying to weld frame members. We found and modified the table that controls these sizes, and opened a call to PTC to make them aware of it. I have yet to check other profiles such as angles or tubes, but I have reason to suspect they may be off as well.If you use this product, be aware of this issue, as it may or may not become a problem in fabrication.The tables that control these sizes are in your EFX folder: EXF\parts\profiles\. There is a separate folder under this for each type of profile. The .tab file controls the profile sizes and can be edited with any text editor.This thread is inactive and closed by the PTC Community Management Team.
