This is probably a long shot but maybe someone has run into it. We have some large complex structural pipe joints we are analyzing that are very difficult to model in STAAD but simple to model in Creo. While the modeling is easier in Creo the analysis side would be better suited for STAAD to complete. I can create my meshes and export them to a ANSYS or NASTRAN file but STAAD does not import those. Has anyone seen a converter that can handle this or knows of a way to get my FEA data, or at least mesh geometry, to STAAD. We have tried a dxf export which STAAD will take the geometry but the points are not well mapped like a FEA mesh.
