Extruding From a Curve

I have an set of parametric equations (in x,y) driving a curve of a cycloidal gear I want to use. Problem is, there seems to be no way to extrude a 3-D part from the 2-D outline. Anyone have any ideas?

Welcome to the forum Dalton. You can extrude your 2D sketch from the same plane by using an extrude and offset from your curve (use an offset of 0). Use loop or chain to capture all of the curve as necessary.

Thanks to both of you; I knew that was the process to extrude but I was unable to. It was a settings problem; for some reason that layer-set the company uses automatically decides to hide the curve layer so that it is inaccessable, I had to go through some funky layer options to gain my access in order to extrude.

Thanks for the help.
