How does everyone go about attaching geometric feature control frames to surfaces via an existing witness line (I'm on Creo 6 btw)? There are some quirks when attempting to make this happen, you have to make the leader on the FCF go "tangent" so it hides along the existing witness line. Then, one must hide the arrow. If the FCF was attached to an existing size dimension, the FCF leader can be moved such that there is a gap between the FCF leader and the part object lines. (see attached images). You can alter the position of the FCF to left or right of the witness line by holding the shift key while dragging it left or right. (I suppose it's best not to question the reasoning behind such an unintuitive/obscure methodology for this).
If you attach the FCF directly to the surface, you cannot get a gap between the FCF leader and the part object lines. Very frustrating.
