Flat Harness XSections

Flat Harness XSections

Anyone ever notice Xsectional views in the Flat Harness do not recognize
depth?
I am using 2001 Build 2003090 on this particular Harness.

To avoid cables in front of a connector I have created a xsectional view
in front of the cables in the view path of a connector
in order to show some details of the connector. Trouble is the section view
in the flat harness shows the view as if it was just a projection
view not accounting for the depth of the sectional cutting plane.

This is a monster harness with 8 legs breaking out of one area, an
entanglement. I need to either have sectional views that work or be able to
blank the harness in some views thru display mode blank component, which
does not function either.

Any Ideas? work arounds?

Any clues appreciated

Michael,

I did not have any responses. I would like to keep the harness parametric
with the routed harness. The harness is stiff, and we would like to show
pin clocking
on cylindrical connectors, while in the flat state. I have most of them as
auxiliary views. A few views I had to force to work because of the no
function of xsections.
This is not a Flex Flat molded multi-layred harness, just a complex
harness.

Thanks for the response
