Freeze All Option

Hi Guys,

Is there a option by which we can Freeze all components (more than 1) of an Assembly whose references are missing ?

BR,

Balkrishna.

In WF5 I believe this is replaced by the regeneration options. Anything previous there was no option for freezing all, and yes I agree it would have been useful.

The other option you can try, is using the 'fix' constraint in the assembly options to stop repeat offenders from losing placement. Just be aware that it removes any association to other parts.

,
I found this option which we can get in Tools- Options, which when turned to YES should serve our cause.

Great find. I was thinking too much of there being a 'button' but this is good so long as the user knows something is frozen. When it's automatic, users have a tendency to forget.

There should be two vertical bars next to a part that has been frozen to identify it.
