Hi all,
I was able to get the reference of a model Item of a parent assembly , while assembling a component to it. However, I am stuck to write a code a for a bit lower level, that is I want to refer to a modelItem of a component feature of the parent assembly. To be more precise, If A assembly tree structure is, as follows
A ( X, B( c, d,e ) )
where X is a feature and B is a subassembly(component feature) with c,d,e features again in it. I am able to pick X or B modelItems, but if I have to pick c or d reference, I am facing problems. Is there, any possibility that can take reference of this feature for assembling components.
Any guidance regarding this will be helpful!
