Hi everyone,
It must be an answer for this one, but can't find it... When working on a feature in an assembly, I changed mind and "Cancel" the action, the CREO regenerated automatically all the assembly with more than 6k parts. It must be an option to set to avoid the automatic regeneration. No?
I am using CREO 6 in offline mode.
Thx,
JS
Solved! Go to Solution.
In addition to the config option provided by @BenLoosli you should also consider setting components in the assembly to read only so they are not regenerated at all even if you initiate a regeneration while working in assembly mode.
Have you tried this:

Hi,
do you really need to work with 6k parts assembly ? Have you tried using simplified representations ?
I needed to take some measurements (for creating simulation model) of the complicated product, which I am not familiar at all. There are numerous Simp Reps already created in the model, but I am not familiar with these Reps either.
