How to get a dimension name

Hello everybody,
I'm trying to get the name of a dimension.
The API wizard states that ProDimension is a subclass of ProModelitem
so I tried with ProModelitemNameGet() but it fails with error code
-2. In fact, as stated in the documentation, this function does not
work with a ProDimension handle.

Being more clear... the name I would get is the value in the field
"name" of the tab "Dimension Text" of the dialog that appears
selecting a dimension and clicking on Edit -> Properties.
Also, when the dimension is used in a family table column, that name
appears in the lower line of the column header.

Any suggestion?

Thanks in advance

-Stefano

Stefano,

Try ProDimensionSymbolGet().

That worked fine!!

Thanks!

But... why don't they call it ProDimensionNameGet()? Oh, nevermind...
