@OliverGräbner Is there a limit on the number of hole charts we can specify with SCR_THREAD_SERIES_THREAD? Using Creo 4 M150 and IFX40-M041, it seems like only the first 5 will load into IFX, but we would like to use 6 to get different hole notes for key and knife inserts.
SCR_THREAD_SERIES_THREAD STD_THD M_THD STD_KEY M_KEY STD_KNF M_KNF
Switching the order changes leads to the last one not loading:
SCR_THREAD_SERIES_THREAD STD_THD M_THD STD_KNF M_KNF M_KEY STD_KEY

Hi,
I have checked this and you are right.
But there are good news.
Since IFX 7.0.3.0 we have a new functionality for *.hol files in IFX.
You can now select the hole file you want to use.
IFX provides all possible hole files in a option menu.
You can preselect *hol files by adding different 'THREAD_NAME*' keywords to you fastener *.dat file

Which IFX version are you currently working with?

We're using IFX Release 4.0 M041 and Date Code 2018.01.18.01.
Glad to see new functionality coming. 😀 Does the preselection solve having to add .001 to the same hole diameters in different tables? How does it help with the limit of 5 threaded holes tables? If you have hole tables for standard threads, helicoils, knife inserts, and thread inserts (mm and inch for all) it's pretty easy to go past a limit of 5.
Trying to get the insert notes to look something like this:
There is no more limit for the *_THREAD_SERIES_* options.
You can enter as much hole files as you want.
If you have a special hole file for a fastener you can add THREAD_NAME as keyword to the *.dat file.
Then only this file is shown.
If no filters are set, all possible hole files are shown.
A hole file is valid, if the Diameter and the Pitch is correct.
Awesome! Thanks for all the hard work on the improvements! We'll have to give Creo 8 a closer look.
