Hello, I've had to design a realistic woman body.
Not just like Mannikin option.
Does someone knows if it's possible to find a stl file, ideally a surfaced model ?
Then, I'll be able to adapt dimensions.
Surfaces, ISDX...
Thanks,
Dominique
Solved! Go to Solution.
All three of the software packages you mentioned will export to stl.
Wasn't that what the movie Weird Science was about? LOL
But seriously, perhaps the best thing would be to get a subject 3D scanned, if you want something more accurate than the Mannikin option. For the most accuracy, they'll either need to be nude or wearing a very tight skinsuit. After you get the pointcloud, the REAL fun begins.
Best of luck!
It would be helpful if you mentioned what it is about the Manikin option that does not make it a viable option. You could certainly export the Manikin as a stl.
Otherwise if you want a specific character you could look at software like MakeHuman.
I did a quick look, but didn't see what kind of output the MakeHuman created.
Also, to the OP, there might be sites out there with 3D scanned people already that you could use. I'd look for that.
If only we had some sort of search engine which could search the internet for "3D stl woman model"...🤔

Thanks a lot 😉
I'm trying those models.
In an other way, there were some softwares (Poser, Daz, Makehuman).
Any idea on how to use them and what they can export ?
I assume I will have to rebuild clean surfaces...
The aim is to manufacture several models (different size) for shooting clothes photo shootings.
Thanks
Amazon has mannequins.
